Active Shooter Survival Training

Active Shooter Survival Training

Conflict International in North Carolina and New York is now able to offer certified training on how to prepare for, and respond to, an active shooter. This training is designed for companies and public utility agencies, as well as medical and educational institutions.

Mass shootings are becoming a sad fact of life across the United States. They have grown significantly in number over the past few years, now occurring at a rate of almost two per day. These shootings have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 people annually over the last two years with many thousands more injured by the actions of active shooters – not to mention the trauma suffered by those who become caught up in a mass shooting scenario.

What does Active Shooter Survival Training offer?

ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training provides invaluable advice on what you can do to help yourself and others around you to survive in a fast-moving and evolving situation.

The training course offers invaluable first-hand information on how to respond in the event of an active shooter. From the warning signs of potential violence, awareness of your surroundings, evaluation of the situation and taking the best action necessary for your survival.

The program has been developed by Michael Julian, a leading specialist in protection and security, and is delivered by Conflict International’s VP of US Operations, Michael Tapling, who is a qualified instructor for the training.

ALIVE in the workplace

From creating an Emergency Action Plan to being aware of potential violence among people within your own workplace - ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training is a comprehensive program that will help you and your employees stay safe.

“Active Shooter Survival Training is not structured or taught for any specific individual or company. It is designed for EVERY individual; company, church, day care, the list goes on. The ALIVE method allows you to be better prepared in the event of an active shooter, allowing for not only your safety, but the safety of others as well.

“Everyone thinks that a catastrophe such as the ones we have seen of late will not happen to them. Statistically speaking, that is not the case anymore and we need to be prepared. Always remember that failing to prepare is preparing to fail...let’s get you prepared together!”
